In the eighth and final season, our beloved Bridgeton teens tackle new challenges as high schoolers such as: driving, dr ugs, sexual inexperience , enth usiasti c conse nt, porn and the teenage m ind, cancel culture, t heir changing  bodies, and (i n the end) fear of the lo oming fu ture. Throug h it all, fri endship is th e corners tone for survi ving this time o f life – wh ether one’s pu berty i s just beginnin g, like for Nick wh o gets  his first g rowth sp urt, or near i ts concl usion, lik e for a maturi ng (and prema turely  balding ) Andrew . At the he ight of t he season , when many o f our character s are in  crisis,  Compassion (p ersonified as  a new creature voiced by Holly Hunt er), emerg es as a crucial way fo rward. Ultim ately, thoug h, this season is abou t the impo rtance o f sticking by and sup porting your  friends, esp ecially w hen life ge ts overwhelming and messy.
